{Memphis, TN, 08/12/23} - 26-year-old Florida native captures coveted title at Graceland in a true story of determination and perseverance.
Cote Deonath, a 26-year-old Elvis Tribute Artist from Ocala, Florida has won the title of Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist presented by Graceland and Elvis Presley Enterprises.
Every year in August, Graceland and Elvis Presley Enterprises host "Elvis Week", a celebration of the life and legacy of The King of Rock & Roll Elvis Presley taking place on the property of Elvis' home in Memphis, TN. A much-anticipated part of these festivities is The Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist Competition.
The Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist Contest is no mere impersonation contest – it's a stage for performers to showcase their vocal prowess, dance moves, and ability to capture the electrifying charisma that made Elvis a global sensation. For the past 6 years, 26-year-old Cote Deonath has fought his way through qualifying preliminary contests across North America to earn a contending spot in the Ultimate Contest.
Each year Cote would earn admirable placement, Top 10, Top 5, Top 3 (3 years in a row), but had yet to earn the coveted title of Ultimate Elvis. This year he kept his head up and with every ounce of determination in his body, Deonath competed for his 7th year in a row and finally captured the title of The Ultimate Elvis Tribute artist making him the number one Elvis Tribute Artist in the world currently.
In addition to this prestigious title Cote also received an exact replica of Elvis' Gold Attendace Record belt and a check for $20,000.

"As a child, I was told I was too short, didn't resemble him, and lacked his voice and complexion. The list of doubts seemed endless. But I used those criticisms as fuel to ignite my passion. I pushed forward, fighting for what I believed was right in this industry, striving to one day earn the title of Ultimate.
I cannot adequately express what it means to have embarked on this journey with all of you. It has been a thrilling roller coaster, with its fair share of highs and lows. Along the way, we discovered other passions and purposes to pursue.
